Top 10 Tuesday of Groovy Tunes: You don't have to say you love Dusty

Each week I feature 10 groovy tunes that have appeared on Billboard's Hot 100 chart during the last 50+ years. You can vote for your three favorites, and the five with the most votes move on to the following week when five new songs will be added to the list.

Last week Barbra Streisand remained at the top with "People", which received 29 votes out of the 184 cast. And this week she will be challenged by Connie Francis, the Manhattan Transfer and Dusty Springfield.

1) "People"/Barbra Streisand (LW #1, W3) - #14 the week of July 18, 1964

2) "California Dreamin'"/The Mamas & the Papas (LW #3, W15) - 17 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1966

3) "Would I Lie to You?"/Eurythmics (LW #4, W3) - #10 the week of July 20, 1985

4) "Walk On By"/Dionne Warwick (LW #2, W4) - #36 the week of July 18, 1964

5) "Don't Sleep in the Subway"/Petula Clark (W2) - #13 the week of July 22, 1967

6) "Lipstick on Your Collar"/Connie Francis (DEBUT) - #5 the week of July 18, 1959

7) "What the World Needs Now Is Love"/Jackie DeShannon (DEBUT) - #9 the week of July 17, 1965

8) "You Don't Have to Say You Love Me"/Dusty Springfield (DEBUT) - #4 the week of July 16, 1966

9) "Boogie Wonderland"/Earth, Wind & Fire (DEBUT) - #6 the week of July 21, 1979
