Top 10 Tuesday of Groovy Tunes: "True Blue" Madonna

Each week I feature 10 groovy tunes that reached the Top 10 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart during the last 50+ years. You can vote for your three favorites, and the five with the most votes move on to the following week when five new songs will be added to the list.

Last week Donna Summer reclaimed the top spot with "Last Dance", which received 37 votes out of the 191 cast. And this week she will be challenged by George Michael, The Four Seasons and Madonna.

1) "Last Dance"/Donna Summer (Last Week #2, Week 17) - 21 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1978

2) "I'm Coming Out"/Diana Ross (W2) - #5 the week of November 15, 1980

3) "Time After Time"/Cyndi Lauper (LW #3, W24) - 20 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1984

4) "Downtown"/Petula Clark (LW #1, W44) - 15 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1964-65

5) "We've Only Just Begun"/Carpenters (LW #4, W5) - #2 the week of November 14, 1970

6) "It's All Right"/The Impressions (DEBUT) - #5 the week of November 16, 1963

I fear I'm beginning to sound a bit like "a broken record", but, I'm still voting for Miss. Clark, Karen & Richard and Cyndi.
