Top 10 Tuesday of Groovy Tunes: "Let's Get Together" with Hayley Mills

Each week I feature 10 groovy tunes that reached the Top 10 on Billboard's Hot 100 chart during the last 50+ years. You can vote for your three favorites, and the five with the most votes move on to the following week when five new songs will be added to the list.

Last week Donna Summer returned to the top with "Last Dance", which received 30 votes out of the 186 cast. And this week she will be challenged by Carole King, The Stampeders and a hit song by Hayley Mills from the 1961 Disney film, The Parent Trap.

1) "Last Dance"/Donna Summer (Last Week #2, Week 14) - 21 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1978

2) "We've Only Just Begun"/Carpenters (W2) - #4 the week of October 24, 1970

3) "Time After Time"/Cyndi Lauper (LW #3, W21) - 20 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1984

4) "Downtown"/Petula Clark (LW #1, Week 41) - 15 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart in 1964-65

5) "Xanadu"/Olivia Newton-John & ELO (LW #5, W3) - #17 the week of October 25, 1980
