Actor Alex Karras, who died earlier today at age 77, starred as George Papadapolis on the TV sitcom, Webster, for six seasons (1983-89). He also appeared in many films, including Blazing Saddles (1974), FM (1978), When Time Ran Out... (1980), Porky's (1982), Against All Odds (1984) and my personal favorite, Victor Victoria (1982), in which he played James Garner's gay bodyguard, "Squash" Bernstein. Karras was married to actress Susan Clark since 1980, and they met while filming the 1975 TV movie, Babe.
