Web Series Worth Watching: Ben Baur has sex in the city in Hunting Season

Web Series of the Week: Hunting Season
Created by Jon Marcus, this gay Sex and the City tells the story of Alex, a male "Carrie Bradshaw" who's a gossip columnist for Gawker. The young gay man begins his own secret sex blog and becomes romantically involved with his own "Mr. Big" named Lenny. Hunting Season is definitely the most explicit web series I've ever seen with many steamy close encounters of the queer kind (you can buy and download the uncensored versions on its website at HuntingSeason.tv). It also doesn't hurt that lead actor Ben Baur is cute eye candy, and he and Walker Hare (who plays Lenny) have great chemistry together. I enjoyed the first three episodes, which you can watch below, and I look forward to seeing how this promising new series progresses.

You can become a fan of Hunting Season on Facebook and Twitter. The above pics of Ben Baur are by photographer Justin Violini.

Other web series worth watching this week are:

Ave 43
This deliciously twisted soap opera continues with its 47th episode, in which Esmiranda forms an alliance to rule Highland Park with an iron fist. If you haven't watched Ave 43 before, I recommend that you start at the very beginning on its YouTube channel. You can also become a fan of the series on Facebook.

Empire
In the latest episode of this addictive soap opera, an arrest is made in Irving's murder - and actor Mark Hapka (Days of our Lives) makes a guest appearance as Lance's hot cousin Trevor in a tight T-shirt. To watch Empire from the very beginning, go to www.empiretheseries.com. You can also become a fan on Facebook and Twitter.

Husbands
The guys' live television interview with Vic De Rey (Jon Cryer) continues in the latest episode of this gay comedy as Brady shows some skin and reveals how he and Cheeks first met. To catch up on Husbands, go to husbandstheseries.com or its YouTube Channel. You can also become a fan on Facebook and Twitter.

Where the Bears Are
This gay comedy series continues with two hilarious new episodes, in which Reggie and Wood visit their friend, drag queen Jackie Beat (who steals the show), and Nelson asks too many questions while making out with his boyfriend, Hot Toddy (the hunky Ian Parks). To catch up on Where the Bears Are, go to wherethebearsare.tv. You can also become a fan on Facebook and Twitter.

The videos won't play on an Internet Explorer browser and won't even load on a Firefox browser. Google search does not turn up this program. Did you make this up?

Hey, Red Sierra, the videos work fine on my Firefox browser - as does the link to "Hunting Season's" website. So, no, I did not make this series up.
