Web Series Worth Watching: Husbands Returns for a 2nd Season
Web Series of the Week: Husbands
The world's first marriage equality comedy returns for a second season as Cheeks (Brad Bell) takes a "shocking" photo of him and his professional baseball player husband Brady (Sean Hemeon) that scandalizes America. Director Joss Whedon (The Avengers, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) guest stars as Brady's agent - and the hunky Mr. Hemeon gets to show off his fine physique, which is always a pleasure to see.

PLEASE NOTE: The next Web Series Worth Watching will be on Sunday, September 9.
Other web series worth watching this week are:
Ave 43
This deliciously twisted soap opera continues with its 45th episode, in which Sabine is introduced to the Immaculate Pancake of Highland Park, Keith's weird new lover has a big secret, Dierdre is wired for sound, and someone is stabbed to death! If you haven't watched Ave 43 before, I recommend that you start at the very beginning on its YouTube channel. You can also become a fan of the series on Facebook.
Darkside Of The Bay
The Emmy-nominated drama, The Bay, continues with this special five-part summer spin-off. In the latest episodes, Zoey bumps into her colleague, reporter Nathan Perkins (Scott Bailey), while Peter is reunited with his cousin Tamara (Celeste Fianna). To get caught up on The Bay, go to www.thebaytheseries.com. You can also become a member of The Bay's Facebook Group and follow the series on Twitter.
Empire
In the latest episodes of this addictive soap opera, Evan and Rachel get much closer, while Valerie reveals her secret to Jake. To watch Empire from the very beginning, go to www.empiretheseries.com. You can also become a fan on Facebook and Twitter.
Fumbling thru the Pieces
This delightfully quirky comedy series returns for a second season with two special guest stars joining the cast - the marvelous Michele Lee (Knots Landing's Karen) as Ellie and Jessie's mother Eleanor and the lovely Bobbie Eakes (All My Children, The Bold and the Beautiful) as Eleanor's lover Janice. The couple arrives in town to comfort Jessie about her bigamist husband and to share some surprising news of their own. For more Fumbling, go to www.fumblingthruthepieces.com. You can also become a fan of the series on Facebook and Twitter.
Jack In A Box
Michael Cyril Creighton's wonderful comedy continues with its penultimate episode, "The Bonding", in which Jack, Suzie and Beau share a few drinks after hours. For more Jack, go to www.jackinaboxsite.com or subscribe to his YouTube Channel. You can also become a fan on Facebook.
Ragged Isle
In the Second Season Finale of this mysterious drama, the island gets real crazy as Paul and Vicki's lives are in danger. I'm not sure what exactly is going on in this series, but it definitely makes me want to tune in for Season Three, which will premiere next spring. For more Ragged Isle, go to www.raggedisle.com. You can also become a fan on Facebook and follow the series on Twitter.
Steam Room Stories
In the latest episode, the guys discuss the importance of self-examination for testicular cancer. To watch more hot studs, go to www.steamroomstories.com. You can also become a fan on Facebook and Twitter.
Where the Bears Are
This hilarious new gay comedy series continues as Reggie, Wood and Nelson begin investigating J Cub's murder on their own. You can watch Episodes 4-7 below, but my two favorites are Episode 5 - in which Wood pays a visit to his high school prom date, coroner Susie Collins (an amusing Loretta Fox), who makes her lab assistant, Hairy Potter (muscle bear Pete Cincinnato), do a striptease - and Episode 7 - in which guest star Brooke Dillman steals the show as Honey Garrett, the chef who catered Nelson's birthday party. If you crossed the comedy talent of Carol Burnett with the foul-mouthed humor of Joan Rivers, you'd get Ms. Dillman, whose Honey is a hoot.
