Ron Palillo, who died earlier today at age 63, will always be fondly remembered as "Sweathog" Arnold Horshack on the 1975-79 ABC sitcom, Welcome Back, Kotter. He later appeared on other television series, including the daytime soap, One Life to Live, in 1994 and several episodes of Ellen in 1996, and in such films as Skatetown, U.S.A. (1979), Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (1986) and Hellgate (1990). The actor also appeared off-Broadway in Lanford Wilson's 1973 play, The Hot l Baltimore, and in the TV musical, The Last Sweet Days of Isaac.
Mr. Palillo is survived by his partner of 41 years, Joseph Gramm - and below I've selected a few videos to celebrate his life and career:
