Groovy Music: Generationals' "When They Fight, They Fight"
Today I learned that Chipolte plays groovy music. I was having lunch at the Mexican restaurant when I heard a catchy song with a retro 1960s sound, and later I Googled some lyrics and eventually discovered the name of the tune - "When They Fight, They Fight" by the American indie rock duo, Generationals, consisting of Ted Joyner and Grant Widmer. The song is from their 2009 debut album, Con Law, and it was featured in a 2009 Bloomingdales holiday commercial and two 2011 films - Hall Pass (which I didn't see) and Our Idiot Brother (which I did see). So I'm a few years late to the party once again when it comes to contemporary music - but better late than never.
