Web Series Worth Watching: Broadway's Jeremy Jordan in Submissions Only
Web Series of the Week: Submissions Only
I continue to love this comedy about auditioning for theatre in New York City. In the latest episode, co-creator Kate Wetherhead is a delight as Penny, who temporarily suspends her strict policy against hooking up with actors. Guest stars include Mary Testa (Broadway's Xanadu, Guys and Dolls), Matt Cavenaugh (Broadway's Urban Cowboy, Grey Gardens, West Side Story), Steven Pasquale (TV's Rescue Me) and 27-year-old Jeremy Jordan, who starred as Clyde in the recent Broadway musical, Bonnie & Clyde. He will return to Broadway in March in the stage version of the 1992 Disney film, Newsies, and he plays Dolly Parton's grandson in the current film, Joyful Noise.
