Great list!! I own SO many of these movies!
I would only add one - The Seventh Victim (1943) directed by Val Lewton (Cat People) and starring a very young Kim Hunter. It is kind of a precursor to Rosemary's Baby - Kim goes looking for her missing sister and finds her among a group of Greenwich Village Satanists....VERY spooky, even more so than Cat People, in my opinion.

Glad you liked the list, Chris! And thanks for your film recommendation--I'll have to check out The Seventh Victim.

For not being a big horror film fan, I've seen about 20 of these 100. I watched "Ghost Ship" last night and found it to be a great horror flick. (Better than "My Bloody Valentine")

Halowe'en the film, that was creepy... good old Donald Pleasance, rest his soul-- Worksop's finest.

Most terrifying film I've seen is Threads-- you won't be able to sleep after watching that!

Good one to watch if you're depressed though, makes you think life could be a lot worse...

Wicker Man, there's a good cult horror flick-- with Christopher Lee naturally!

Worst list ever just because trick r treat wasn't on it!!!!!it's like the #1 Halloween movie next to the actual halloween series...

Well, John Dean, I will have to disagree with you about my list being "the worst" just because I left off one of your favorite films - which I've never even heard of. But if I ever decide to post an updated list, I will definitely check out Trick 'r Treat - and I do appreciate your movie recommendation.
